The Stockings...

The stockings are key to tying your Christmas decor together, especially in the family room! I always recommend choosing styles that match the vibe you’re creating throughout your home for a seamless, consistent look. Here are a few of my favorite stocking picks for this holiday season!

Norfolk Pine Garland...

We’ve all seen it... and we all love it. Norfolk pine garland is a must every Christmas season. Its natural look and soft, realistic texture bring the perfect touch of organic warmth into any space. Below are a few of my favorite Norfolk pine garlands to shop this year!

DIY Dried Fruit Garland...

Dried fruit garland is such a beautiful way to bring natural elements, and a little nostalgia, into your holiday decor. It’s also the perfect tradition to create with your family each year. If you want to make your own, here are the quick and easy steps to DIY this seasonal favorite:

Supplies:

  • Oranges

  • Lemons

  • Apples

  • Fishing Line

  • A Large Needle

  • Cinnamon Sticks

Step-By-Step:

  1. Slice your fruit into thin, even pieces; about 1/2" thick.

  2. Pat each slice dry with a paper towel.

  3. Lay the slices on a baking sheet and bake at 200°F for 4–6 hours.

  4. Flip the slices every hour so they dehydrate evenly.

  5. Let the fruit cool completely. They should feel firm and no longer bendable.

  6. Cut your fishing line to the desired length.

  7. Thread your needle and gently poke a hole near the top of each fruit slice.

  8. String the slices one by one, tying a knot at the first piece to secure it.

  9. Add in extra elements, like cinnamon sticks, between slices for added texture.

  10. Tie a knot on the last slice, hang it up, and enjoy your homemade dried fruit garland!
